I am a producer/director (I write, shoot and edit tv commercials)in Omaha, NE.  i love the job, but not the fact that lately, I'm a factory; a means to an ends for somebody else.   I'm all about having my fellow citizen succeed, but not by walking on mine or anybody else's backs to get there.  That will change.  But it will take some courage; spiritual, mental, physical, liquid or otherwise. 

I am happily married to the one I recently discovered is still okay to call my girlfriend.  Her name is Jill.  The very thought of her can make me simultaneously smile and laugh wildly.  She, next to my brother, is my best friend.

I don't consider myself to be one that can reach into his pocket and find a handful of friends, money or resources, but overall, I know that life being the struggle it is, it's good to be somewhat humble.  Because man, the second I get proud about a damn thing, something or someone comes takes me down a notch, which as embarassing as it can be initially, it's something I end up appreciating. 

In short, I'm a skeptic of human nature: I fail many times to see that despite the times we live in, there is still magic, love and goodness that come out of people.   People often confuse realism with pessimism,   but people like me are the ultimate optimists.  They know hope exists.  Because as f-ed up as I know the world is now, I know that it could better with a change in attitude from me, you, everybody.
